The side entrance to the cottage welcomes you into a stunning, ultra-modern kitchen/diner featuring a soft palette of pastel colours and kitted out with everything you need for dining in. The dining table for eight is the focus of the room making this space perfect for cooking and socialising. Through to the living room of the cottage, you’re met with period features such as gorgeous exposed wooden beams lining the ceiling and a cosy wood burner housed in an exposed brick fireplace. The large statement corner sofa and TV with DVD add a modern twist to this cosy spot. Fairly steep stairs lead up to the first floor, where you can find one double bedroom with views out to the Abbey and St Mary’s Church, and another double bedroom benefiting from a modern en-suite with shower cubicle and WC. Another spacious family bathroom with a walk in shower and WC can be found on this level, along with the third bedroom, a cosy single. Up to the second floor, you’re met with a final twin bedroom under the eaves featuring more stunning exposed wooden beams and more endless views over the village.
The brick-built exterior of the cottage features quaint railings, and even though there is no private garden space, a pretty Alice in Wonderland Garden just across the road is the perfect spot for a picnic or evening stroll.
