An inviting, modern retreat, set on a quiet road, this holiday home is also ideally positioned for enjoying the many attractions of the Yorkshire town. Sleeping six guests, and with an enclosed rear garden, it is perfect for a family break as it is just over 0.5 miles from the town’s main sandy beach, with its pier, donkey rides and other traditional seaside fun. The smaller Tate Hill Beach is slightly closer and from here you can make your way up to the famous 199 steps that climb up to the ruins of historic Whitby Abbey on the headland. Also venture into the North York Moors National Park, surrounding Whitby and that can be explored on foot or by bicycle.

Make your way into this inviting abode and settle in the comfortable lounge for a spell after your exciting days out. Watch the large TV in here, play games together and discuss your plans for the following day. When it is time to prepare dinner, head through to the kitchen/diner, where you will find everything you need to help you make delicious meals with your own ingredients. Also at this level, are a double bedroom and the family bathroom. A king-size bedroom and a twin are up on the second floor, together with a family shower room. Each bedroom has a TV/DVD for you to enjoy.

Spill out in to the sizeable, lawned garden to bask in the sunshine on fine days. Watch the children play on the grass and dine out here together on balmy, summer evenings.

The property is in an ideal location for Whitby town, within walking distance but also far enough to be peaceful. This is our third stay and will certainly be returning.

Redroofs is a lovely property, great location, extremely well equipped and spotless. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully return when next in Whitby.

Redroofs was an absolute delightful experience. We have three young kids, and made the 10 minute walk to the beach most days, the property is a brilliant location. It also had everything we neededa washing machine and tumble dryer is a must for us so this was perfect. Whitby is a lovely place, and it was brilliant to have a lovely holiday home to eRead morenjoy it in. Hide

Redroofs is a lovely property in a quiet area a short walk downhill to the town centre and seafront. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped, the garden is secure and ideal for small children. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend Redroofs.

Lovely house, great location, and the owners are clearly very thoughtful hosts. Guests are welcomed with lots of kind touches like milk in the fridge and a loaf of bread
