An impressive, single-storey holiday home, this enticing retreat captures views out towards the harbour and historic Whitby Abbey. With a stylish, contemporary interior, it sleeps four guests and features a good-sized, sunny garden. The two-bedroom property is just over 0.5 miles from the main sandy beach, which is popular with families for paddling, swimming and picnicking and a short walk to the town centre. Head out on foot to explore the charming seaside town, with its many shops and eateries, and to climb the 199 steps up to the famous abbey on the clifftop. Visit Whitby’s museum and the Dracula Experience, which makes the most of the town’s associations with the novel. Head inland into the North York Moors National Park, with its many footpaths and beautiful scenery.
Step in through the front door to find yourselves in a spacious hallway leading to all the main accommodation. Wander on into the stylish lounge to relax in front of a good movie on the 58" Smart TV or to spend a few quiet moments unwinding together before deciding whose turn it is to cook. The beautiful kitchen/diner is equipped with everything you need to help you in your endeavours, plus a table to gather round once the meal is ready. At the end of each fun-filled day, make your way through to either the sumptuous king-size bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room, or the equally inviting twin room, that can also arranged as a king-size if specified at booking; both bedrooms have TVs and hairdryers. There is a family bathroom at the holiday home and a separate WC and tumble dryer in the garage.
Enjoy the enclosed garden at this Whitby cottage as often as the weather permits. Sit at the table on the patio to have dinner or on the bench on the raised lawn, which is up three steps, to enjoy a glass of chilled wine.
