The cultural centre of North Yorkshire’s Heritage Coast, Whitby is a family-friendly favourite for holidays all year round. It was from here that explorer and voyager Captain James Cook set sail on HMS Endeavour in 1768. Embark on your own adventure with a train ride into the North York Moors National Park – the station is half a mile from this mid-terrace period property.

Harbour Lights is a lovely, warm, roomy cottage, in a good location for everything. Booking was easy and we were kept well informed of payment dates and all the required information The owner rang us when we got home to ask if everything was OK, that was so nice of him. Would definitely book again. Thanks.

Slight glitch in the cleanliness of the crockery and cutlery - otherwise spotless. However, I think it's important to point out we were very last minute, as the cottage we had booked had a serious boiler mishap, so the cleaner may not have had time to check the previous occupants had washed the pots as they should!

Your offices in Whitby were closed and I have difficulty with your payment system, it would be much easier to use either PayPal or BACS. It took three attempts to eventually complete the deposit. I think that your merger will take the service from a friendly local expert with local knowledge and accessibility to a monster that can only be reached bRead morey phone or IT. To me that is disaster but we can only book through the system for that lovely cottage. Hide
